Shop / power bank for goal zero
Over 10 years ago, Goal Zero created the portable power station category, presenting a new way forward in portable energy use at home, on the job, and off-grid. As leaders in portable power, our products are engineered with precision here in the U.S., with every feature designed with a real-life use case in mind. From powering campsites to field work to essential circuits in the home during an outage, our Goal Zero solutions have you covered.
The Yeti 500X power station packs a punch with its 497 Watt Hours capacity, making it the perfect companion for overlanding rigs or extended camping trips. This versatile station can power a wide range of devices, from phones and WiFi routers to pellet grills, thanks to its 7 diverse ports and a pure sine 300 W (1200 W surge) AC inverter.
Durability and safety are paramount with the Yeti 500X. Its heavy-duty anodized aluminum enclosure and tier 1 lithium battery cell ensure reliable, safe power for years to come, with super quiet operation and no gas or toxic fumes. When combined with a Goal Zero solar panel, this power station becomes a solar generator, unlocking indefinite power through the MPPT charge controller, which increases solar input by up to 30 percent.
Inspired by a passion for adventure, respect for the planet, and a humanitarian heart, Goal Zero is presenting a new way forward in portable power use. We're committed to ensuring all communities have the necessary resources to reach their full potential.
To calculate how long the Yeti 500X will run your device, simply divide the Yeti's wattage by the device's wattage. For example, a 500 Wh battery should run a 100 W light for 5 hours (500/100=5). When determining if your device will work with the Goal Zero Yeti, check the capacity for the individual output ports to ensure it can safely handle the required power. Also, be mindful of the surge rating of your device compared to that of the port.
If unused, power banks and power stations can hold a full charge for 12-14 months. However, we highly recommend using and charging the battery every 3-4 months for a healthy lifespan. If possible, plug the device into a wall while storing.
To back up your home with Goal Zero, have the Yeti Home Integration Kit installed by a certified electrician with a Yeti 1000 power station or larger. The Yeti Link and Yeti Tank expansion batteries can also be used to increase battery storage.
